Description

Baithak returns for its second edition with an intimate evening of music and reflection, built around the theme of chaos and awareness. It explores how stillness and clarity can grow out of turbulence, much as a lotus rises from restless water.

The evening brings together Suresh Raj Bajracharya, Gabriel Barok, Navaraj Gurung and Om Raj Bajracharya. Their performance is woven with children’s voices and live prayer chanting by a Buddhist monk, so the music moves between sound and silence, noise and calm.

The setting is the Yala Mandala Art Workshop in the historic Old Suraschandra Mahavihar, Nhayakan Bahi. The evening closes with a specially curated Newa Bhoye, a traditional Newari feast.
