Miss Nepal 2024, held at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Center, Lalitpur, saw Ashma Kumari KC crowned as Miss Nepal World 2024, beating out 25 other contestants. At the 28th edition of the pageant, Sumana KC and Karuna Rawat won the titles of Miss Nepal Earth and Miss Nepal International, respectively. Events in Nepal continue to draw attention, with Miss Nepal standing as a prominent highlight.

Miss Nepal World 2024 was more than just a beauty pageant. The Hidden Treasure (THT), which has been organizing Miss Nepal since 1994, gave out 13 other titles this year. Dikshya Awasthi was named The Kathmandu Post Miss Intellectual, Anjana Pun won Miss Popular Choice, Urja Newa bagged Miss Fitness Queen, Simrika Manandhar won Miss Healthy Skin, Saira Khadka was named Vatsalya Miss Visionary, Preravita Swar received the title of Miss Confident, Anjana Pun won Miss DHI, Ambika Rana was named Miss Green Visionary, Shraddha Suman Silwal bagged Miss Photogenic, and finally, Kimti Shrestha received the title of Miss Talent.

The event was judged by a distinguished panel of 11 judges, including Miss Nepal World 2022 Priyanka Rani Joshi, Miss Nepal Asia-Pacific International 2017 Sahara Basnet Rana, National Cricket player Sharad Vesawkar, and Actor Divya Dev. The entire show was broadcast live on Himalaya TV.

Ashma Kumari KC, 26, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, impressed the judges with her winning answer to a question about climate change during the final round of the competition.
